Responsibilities
- Architect technology roadmaps for 2026-2030 quantum computing integration
- Lead cross-functional teams developing AI ethics frameworks and regulatory compliance systems
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Collaborate with venture partners to scout and acquire breakthrough startups
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board members on future tech trends
- Manage $5M innovation budget with ROI-focused KPI tracking
- Develop patent portfolios for proprietary future-facing technologies
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science/Engineering with specialization in future tech
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar on quantum/AI convergence
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year lead time
- Deep expertise in regulatory landscapes for AI and biotech
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
