Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive 2026+ technology strategy aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align technical vision with product roadmaps
- Build predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption timelines
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Manage relationships with academic institutions and R&D partners
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or product development with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and trend analysis methodologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, blockchain, neurotech)
- Strong background in translating complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Track record of driving large-scale innovation initiatives
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Certification in strategic foresight or technology forecasting preferred
