Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with research institutions and tech incubators
- Monitor competitive landscape and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Drive R&D initiatives for breakthrough technologies with 5-7 year horizons
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or innovation management
- Proven track record of launching tech products with 3+ year lifecycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, IoT, blockchain, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making ability
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience securing $5M+ in innovation funding or venture capital
- Certification in technology foresight or strategic planning preferred
