Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy framework, aligning with corporate vision and market disruptors
- Analyze emerging tech trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for competitive advantage
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and R&D pioneers
- Present technology roadmaps to executive stakeholders and board members
- Mentor junior strategists in future-thinking methodologies
- Drive patent development and IP protection for breakthrough innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in future-tech roles
- Proven track record of launching disruptive products/services (showcase 2-3 major initiatives)
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains
- MBA or advanced degree in technology, engineering, or futures studies
- Exceptional data modeling and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with agile development and rapid prototyping methodologies
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating future-tech impact (publications, patents, or keynotes)
