Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Analyze emerging tech trends (AI, quantum, AR/VR, bio-tech) and assess market viability
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints and hackathons to prototype breakthrough solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership
- Build partnerships with leading research institutions and tech incubators
- Manage a $5M+ innovation budget and ROI analysis for R&D initiatives
- Mentor a team of 5-7 senior technology strategists
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech
- Proven track record leading successful technology transformations
- Expertise in AI, quantum computing, or sustainable tech domains
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business
- Experience presenting to C-suite executives and board members
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex scenarios
- Certification in technology strategy or innovation management preferred
