Responsibilities
- Lead research initiatives in emerging technologies (quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, synthetic biology)
- Architect scalable infrastructure solutions for 2026-era computational demands
- Develop patent-pending algorithms for autonomous systems and predictive modeling
- Collaborate with cross-functional labs to integrate breakthrough technologies
- Present findings at global tech summits and publish in leading journals
- Mentor junior researchers in ethical tech development and responsible innovation
- Secure $10M+ in R&D funding through strategic partnerships and grant proposals
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Quantum Physics, or Bioengineering with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in Nature/Science journals or equivalent peer-reviewed publications
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum machine learning, neuromorphic chips, or gene-editing AI
- Proven track record of scaling systems to petabyte-scale data processing
- Proficiency in Python, Rust, and quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit)
- Experience securing DoD/NSF grants or venture capital for deep tech ventures
- Fluency in ethical AI frameworks and responsible innovation principles
