Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies impacting 2026+ markets
- Develop and maintain a strategic technology roadmap aligned with long-term business objectives
- Collaborate with R&D, product, and engineering teams to integrate emerging innovations
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for technological disruptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Establish innovation governance frameworks and ethical guidelines for emerging tech
- Manage cross-functional initiatives to accelerate technology adoption cycles
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven experience with horizon scanning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management skills
- Advanced degree in relevant field (MS/MBA/PhD preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Experience developing technology roadmaps with measurable KPIs
- Certification in technology foresight or innovation management (e.g., CFTE, CTI) preferred
