- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with MIT/Stanford research partners
- Identify and prioritize emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Present strategic frameworks to C-suite and venture capital partners
- Build patent portfolios for breakthrough technologies (10+ annual filings)
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental projects
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 or unicorn startups
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum, biotech, or space tech
- Proven track record of commercializing breakthrough technologies
- PhD or equivalent in Engineering, Physics, or Computer Science
- Fluency in Mandarin, Japanese, or German for global partnerships
