Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps for quantum computing, AI governance, and space commercialization
- Lead cross-disciplinary R&D initiatives bridging biotech, nanotechnology, and decentralized systems
- Establish strategic partnerships with NASA, Stanford AI Lab, and quantum research consortia
- Present future technology frameworks to C-suite executives and board members
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Manage $5M+ innovation budgets across 3+ technology verticals
- Author white papers on metaverse infrastructure and AGI safety protocols
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics; PhD preferred
- 8+ years in strategic technology planning with Fortune 500 tech firms
- Proven track record launching products with 2025+ market impact
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains: quantum, AGI, biotech, or space tech
- Published thought leadership in IEEE Nature or similar journals
- Experience securing federal grants (DARPA, NSF) for futuristic R&D
- Fluency in technology forecasting methodologies (Delphi, scenario planning)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain for classified projects
