Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps by analyzing emerging trends, patent landscapes, and competitive disruption
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions in AI ethics, climate tech, and immersive computing
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and government agencies for sustainable innovation ecosystems
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite stakeholders with data-driven market projections and risk assessments
- Drive patent development and IP strategy for breakthrough technologies with 2026 commercialization targets
- Mentor innovation teams in agile methodologies for rapid prototyping of future-focused products
Qualifications
- 15+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership with demonstrated impact on 2020-2025 innovation cycles
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized AI
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies from Tier 1 institution
- Proven track record of scaling technologies from lab to market (minimum $50M ARR impact)
- Published thought leadership in Nature, MIT Tech Review, or equivalent on 2030+ technology horizons
- Security clearance for federal innovation initiatives preferred
- Fluency in Mandarin or Arabic for global collaboration
