Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy roadmap aligned with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups and academic research for partnership opportunities
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Secure $5M+ annual innovation budget through compelling business cases
- Build and manage ecosystem of industry experts and thought leaders
- Drive patent portfolio development in future tech domains
Qualifications
- 15+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record launching at least two breakthrough products/services
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, AR/VR)
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience securing $10M+ budgets for innovation initiatives
- Published research or patents in future technology areas
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and navigate complex stakeholder landscapes
