Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AGI, biotech, etc.) and conduct impact assessments
- Partner with product teams to integrate future tech into commercial offerings
- Establish innovation governance frameworks for ethical tech adoption
- Manage strategic partnerships with leading research institutions and startups
- Present technology visions to investors, clients, and industry panels
- Build and lead a specialized future technologies task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D, or emerging tech roles
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of implementing disruptive technologies in enterprise environments
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to forecast tech adoption curves
- Experience with scenario planning and technology risk assessment
- Strong stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy publications
