Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives mapping emerging technologies to market opportunities through 2030
- Develop implementation roadmaps for quantum-resistant cryptography and autonomous AI systems
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech solutions into enterprise roadmaps
- Conduct horizon scanning across biotech, neurotech, and climate tech sectors
- Present technology forecasts to investors and board members with actionable insights
- Mentor cross-functional teams in adopting next-gen development methodologies
- Author whitepapers influencing industry standards for ethical AI deployment
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Deep expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record translating complex innovations into commercial applications
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Published research or patents in future technologies (preferred)
- Experience with scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks like Toffler's Future Shock or Porter's Five Forces
