Responsibilities
- Scan horizon for emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech integration) and assess commercial viability
- Develop 3-5 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market trends
- Lead R&D initiatives for prototype development and pilot program execution
- Present innovation frameworks to executive stakeholders and secure cross-departmental buy-in
- Establish KPIs and analytics frameworks to measure technology adoption impact
- Manage vendor relationships for next-gen tech partnerships and acquisitions
- Mentor junior strategists and foster collaborative innovation culture
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, product innovation, or emerging tech consulting
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year tech transformation programs
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains (e.g., blockchain, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Strong financial modeling skills for ROI analysis of large-scale tech investments
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business required
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals preferred
- Ability to obtain US government security clearance (if applicable)
