Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year strategic roadmaps for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic computing, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives targeting 2026 market disruption
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis in exponential tech domains
- Build patent portfolios and IP protection frameworks for breakthrough innovations
- Establish startup partnerships and venture capital relationships for ecosystem expansion
- Present strategic frameworks to executive stakeholders and investors
- Mentor innovation teams in agile development of futuristic prototypes
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic technology roles with Fortune 500 or hyper-growth startups
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in exponential technology forecasting methodologies
- Executive experience in building innovation pipelines and R&D ecosystems
- Prior experience with 2026+ technology roadmaps and scenario planning
- Strong network in venture capital and academic research institutions
- PhD or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation (patents, white papers, TED talks)
