- Identify emerging tech disruptors and formulate mitigation/adaptation strategies
- Present future tech frameworks to C-suite and venture partners
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget with ROI-driven allocation
- Drive patent development for proprietary 2026-focused technologies
- Mentor junior strategists in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech planning with Fortune 500 or scale-up experience
- Expertise in AI governance, quantum computing, or climate tech required
- Published thought leadership in tech forecasting (e.g., IEEE, MIT Tech Review)
- Advanced degree in CS, Engineering, or Business Analytics
- Track record of launching technologies with 3+ year lead times
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., @RISK, Palisade)
- Security clearance or ability to obtain federal clearance preferred
