Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year tech roadmaps aligning with market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum/AI convergence
- Identify emerging tech patents for acquisition/strategic partnerships
- Present to C-suite boards with data-backed innovation scenarios
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
- Secure $5M+ annual R&D funding through stakeholder presentations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy or R&D leadership
- Published research in IEEE/Nature on emerging tech
- Proven track record of scaling tech from lab to market
- Advanced degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
- Certified in Futures Studies (CFP) or equivalent
- Portfolio of 3+ successful tech commercializations
- Expertise in regulatory frameworks for AI/quantum tech
