Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams in developing 2026-focused technology roadmaps
- Identify and prioritize emerging tech opportunities through market analysis and patent research
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-backed insights
- Manage $5M+ annual innovation budget across 3-5 high-impact projects
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government agencies
- Oversee patent portfolios and IP strategy for proprietary innovations
- Coordinate with product teams to transition prototypes into commercial solutions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in tech strategy, R&D management, or innovation consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., quantum AI, biotech, climate tech)
- Proven track record of launching successful tech products or research initiatives
