Responsibilities
- Architect Next-Gen AI Systems: Design and deploy scalable machine learning models specifically optimized for the hardware constraints of 2026.
- Lead R&D Initiatives: Spearhead research into quantum machine learning and edge computing paradigms.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work alongside software engineers, hardware designers, and ethicists to ensure seamless integration of AI into physical systems.
- Optimize Performance: Continuously refine algorithms to ensure real-time decision-making capabilities in dynamic environments.
- Mentorship: Guide junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
- Future-Proofing: Anticipate technological shifts and adapt our infrastructure roadmap accordingly.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software engineering and machine learning, with at least 2 years in a lead or architectural role.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and experience with distributed computing systems.
- Future Tech Focus: Familiarity with quantum computing concepts or advanced edge computing protocols is a strong plus.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Location: Must be willing to work from our San Francisco headquarters or a fully remote US-based setup.
