Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Lead the architectural vision for Horizon Dynamics' roadmap leading up to 2026, identifying critical emerging technologies and integration points.
- Innovation Labs: Spearhead R&D projects focusing on Quantum Readiness, Edge Computing, and Advanced AI integration to ensure our infrastructure is future-proof.
- System Design: Design scalable, high-performance microservices and cloud architectures capable of handling exabyte-scale data loads.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product managers, security experts, and engineering teams to translate futuristic concepts into actionable technical specifications.
- Vendor & Tech Stack Analysis: Evaluate and select next-generation hardware and software solutions that align with long-term business goals.
- Talent Mentorship: Cultivate a culture of innovation by mentoring junior architects and engineers on emerging trends.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software architecture, cloud engineering, or systems design, with at least 3 years in a leadership or strategic planning role.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of Kubernetes, Docker, serverless architectures, and large-scale distributed systems.
- Future Tech Acumen: Demonstrated interest and expertise in AI/ML, Blockchain, or IoT ecosystems with a focus on their 2026 trajectory.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect Professional, Google Cloud Professional Architect, or equivalent is a plus.
