Responsibilities
- Architect Vision: Define and communicate the long-term technical strategy for Horizon Dynamics, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends leading into 2026.
- System Design: Lead the design of scalable, distributed systems capable of supporting exponential growth and complex AI integrations.
- Trend Analysis: Continuously monitor emerging technologies (e.g., Quantum Computing, Advanced AI, Edge Computing) and evaluate their potential application within our ecosystem.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with product management, engineering, and design teams to translate high-level concepts into actionable technical roadmaps.
- Risk Management: Identify potential technical bottlenecks and infrastructure risks early in the development lifecycle.
- Mentorship: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the engineering department.
Qualifications
- Experience: 8+ years of experience in software engineering, architecture, or technical product management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of cloud architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP), microservices, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Futuristic Outlook: Demonstrated ability to think strategically about the next 3-5 years of technology adoption.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
