Responsibilities
- Design, test, and deploy advanced prompt engineering strategies for production AI systems
- Collaborate with ML engineers to align prompts with model architecture and training objectives
- Develop and maintain prompt libraries with version control and documentation standards
- Conduct A/B testing to measure prompt efficacy and optimize response quality
- Create prompt templates for diverse use cases including chatbots, content generation, and data analysis
- Document best practices and conduct training for internal stakeholders on prompt methodologies
- Stay current with emerging AI techniques and contribute to innovation roadmap planning
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in prompt engineering or NLP-focused AI development
- Expertise with LLMs including GPT-4, Claude, and open-source alternatives
- Strong Python skills with experience in API integration (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
- Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into effective prompt designs
- Portfolio demonstrating prompt optimization projects with measurable outcomes
- Excellent written communication skills with attention to nuance and context
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
