Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco/Juniper network hardware including routers, switches, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance using SolarWinds and PRTG to ensure 99.9% uptime
- Document network topology and changes using Visio and ServiceNow
- Implement security protocols (ACLs, VPNs, IDS/IPS) to protect against cyber threats
- Collaborate with cloud teams on hybrid infrastructure integration projects
- Provide Tier 3 support during network outages and perform root cause analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years of enterprise network administration experience with Cisco/Juniper
- CCNA/CCNP or JNCIA/JNCIP certification required
- Proficiency in BGP, OSPF, and VLAN configuration
- Familiarity with AWS/Azure networking services
- Strong scripting skills (Python/PowerShell)
- Ability to lift 40lbs for equipment installations
- Valid Texas driver's license for client site visits
