Responsibilities
- Execute manual and automated test cases to identify software defects
- Document bugs using JIRA with clear severity ratings and reproduction steps
- Collaborate with developers during sprint cycles to resolve issues
- Test web applications across browsers and mobile devices
- Participate in Agile ceremonies (stand-ups, retrospectives)
- Maintain comprehensive test documentation and test data
- Validate fixes and ensure regression testing coverage
Qualifications
- 1+ years of QA/testing experience or relevant internship
- Proficiency in bug tracking tools (JIRA, Bugzilla)
- Familiarity with testing methodologies (black-box, smoke, regression)
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Excellent written communication skills
- Experience with cross-browser testing (Chrome, Safari, Firefox)
- Ability to work independently with flexible scheduling
- Basic SQL knowledge preferred
