Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and deployment of high-density Wi-Fi 6E and 5G networks for major stadiums and fan zones.
- Oversee real-time data management systems, ensuring low latency for broadcasting and fan engagement apps.
- Collaborate with security teams to implement robust cybersecurity measures for sensitive event data.
- Manage vendor relationships and technical compliance for third-party AV and IT integrators.
- Execute emergency troubleshooting protocols to minimize downtime during live matches.
- Develop comprehensive IT documentation and operational playbooks for venue turnover.
- Train and mentor junior technical staff on best practices for large-scale event operations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in IT infrastructure, specifically within large-scale event or venue management.
- Proficiency in network design (Cisco, Juniper, Arista) and wireless LAN management.
- Strong understanding of IP video streaming and broadcast infrastructure integration.
- Experience with Project Management methodologies (Agile, Scrum) and managing multi-million dollar budgets.
- Ability to obtain a valid driver's license and travel to various host venues as required.
- BS in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
