Responsibilities
- Design and implement low-latency trading systems for equity options derivatives
- Optimize C++/Java algorithms for real-time market data processing
- Develop microservices for options pricing models and risk analytics
- Monitor system performance during active trading weekends (Sat-Sun)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on compliance and security protocols
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in high-frequency trading systems
- Expertise in C++, Java, or Python with low-latency frameworks
- Strong understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Experience with market data feeds (ITCH/ITCH, FIX protocol)
- Proficiency in Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong debugging skills for distributed systems
- Ability to work independently during weekend shifts
