Responsibilities
- Design and develop high-performance software for equity options pricing and trading systems
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to implement complex financial models
- Optimize system architecture for low-latency options trading execution
- Ensure compliance with SEC regulations and financial industry standards
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers on best practices
- Integrate third-party market data feeds and API solutions
- Document technical specifications and maintain system documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in software development for financial markets
- Expertise in Java, Python, or C++ with strong OOP fundamentals
- Deep understanding of equity options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial)
- Experience with low-latency trading systems and high-frequency data processing
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and cloud deployment (AWS/GCP)
