Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance software for equity options pricing and risk management systems
- Implement low-latency trading algorithms and market data processing pipelines
- Collaborate with quants to translate financial models into production-ready code
- Optimize system architecture for scalability and reliability under high-throughput market conditions
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to financial industry compliance standards
- Troubleshoot complex trading system issues and implement robust error handling
- Document technical specifications and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or quantitative field (MS preferred)
- 5+ years experience in financial software development, specifically with equity derivatives
- Expert proficiency in C++ and/or Java with strong multithreading and concurrency knowledge
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial Trees, Monte Carlo)
- Experience with high-frequency trading systems or low-latency market data feeds
- Familiarity with FIX protocol and financial messaging standards
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to debug complex distributed systems
- Knowledge of Linux environments and performance optimization techniques
