We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Equity Options Data Analyst to join our growing operations team in Raleigh, NC. As part of our weekend shift team, you will ensure the integrity and accuracy of our proprietary equity options data feeds, supporting our traders and analysts with real-time reporting and quality assurance.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and validate high-volume equity options data sets to ensure 99.9% accuracy for weekend reporting.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data extraction and transformation processes.
- Monitor market trends and anomalies in equity options pricing during off-hours to flag potential errors or trading opportunities.
- Create detailed dashboards and visualizations using Tableau or PowerBI to support weekend trading desks.
- Collaborate with the core analytics team to refine data governance policies and reporting standards.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on data discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, specifically within the financial services or equity options sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Experience with financial data structures and options pricing models is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently during the weekend shift.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to data accuracy and regulatory compliance.
