Responsibilities
- Analyze massive datasets related to equity options chains, implied volatility, and open interest to identify market trends and pricing anomalies.
- Develop and maintain robust ETL pipelines using Python and SQL to ensure real-time data availability for trading strategies.
- Create interactive, high-performance dashboards (Tableau/PowerBI) to visualize risk exposure, Greeks, and portfolio performance.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers to back-test and optimize automated trading algorithms based on historical options data.
- Model and stress-test option portfolios to assess potential risk scenarios and exposure to market volatility.
- Document data governance protocols and ensure compliance with financial regulatory standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in data analysis, preferably within the financial services sector focusing on equities or derivatives.
- Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for complex data manipulation and querying.
- Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial), Greeks, and market mechanics.
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI) and cloud data warehouses (AWS Redshift/Glue).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate complex data findings to non-technical stakeholders.
