Responsibilities
- Derivative Analysis: Monitor and analyze large-scale equity options chains to identify pricing discrepancies, arbitrage opportunities, and market volatility trends.
- Model Development: Build, test, and refine quantitative models for option pricing (e.g., Black-Scholes, Monte Carlo simulations) to improve forecasting accuracy.
- Data Visualization: Create intuitive dashboards and reports using tools like Tableau or PowerBI to present complex financial data to stakeholders and traders.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the trading desk and risk management teams to provide real-time data support and strategic recommendations.
- Process Optimization: Automate data collection and reporting pipelines to ensure high data integrity and operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Computer Science.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial data analysis, specifically within options markets or derivatives trading.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, Python (Pandas, NumPy), and advanced Excel (VBA, Macros).
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of option pricing theory, Greeks, volatility surfaces, and market microstructure.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
