Responsibilities
- Analyze equity options market data to identify trading opportunities and risk exposures
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines using SQL and Python
- Collaborate with traders to create custom option pricing models
- Generate daily performance reports and volatility surface visualizations
- Monitor market events and news impacting options positions
- Document data methodologies and process improvements
- Participate in quarterly strategy reviews with senior analysts
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, financial functions)
- Basic understanding of options contracts (calls/puts, Greeks)
- Strong attention to detail and quantitative reasoning skills
