Responsibilities
- Extract, transform, and load (ETL) large volumes of equity options market data from various exchanges and data providers.
- Analyze option pricing trends, implied volatility (IV), and greeks to identify market inefficiencies and trading signals.
- Develop and maintain complex SQL queries and Python scripts to automate data reporting processes.
- Collaborate with quantitative researchers and traders to build predictive models for option strategies.
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations to communicate data insights to senior leadership.
- Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the finance, options trading, or quantitative finance sector.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and Python (Pandas, NumPy).
- Deep understanding of equity options mechanics, including calls, puts, and the Black-Scholes model.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, Macros).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
