Responsibilities
- Analyze historical and real-time equity options data to identify market trends and anomalies.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of dashboards to visualize option pricing and volatility metrics.
- Collaborate with senior analysts to clean, validate, and structure large datasets for reporting.
- Support the risk management team by providing data-driven insights into option exposure and hedging strategies.
- Conduct research on market volatility and equity derivatives to enhance analytical models.
- Document data processes and create technical specifications for data infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong interest in financial markets, specifically Equity Options and Derivatives.
- Familiarity with SQL and basic understanding of Python or R for data manipulation.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Advanced functions, Pivot Tables, VBA is a plus).
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
