Responsibilities
- Market Analysis: Analyze vast datasets of equity options to identify trends, anomalies, and trading opportunities.
- Modeling: Develop and maintain quantitative models for options pricing and risk management.
- Reporting: Create interactive dashboards and executive summaries to communicate complex data findings to stakeholders.
- Data Engineering: Collaborate with IT to optimize data pipelines and ensure data integrity.
- Strategy: Assist in the development of automated trading strategies based on quantitative research.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial data analysis, specifically within equity options or derivatives markets.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn), SQL, and visualization tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Financial Knowledge: Strong understanding of options theory, Black-Scholes models, and volatility surface analysis.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
