Responsibilities
- Analyze equity options market data using SQL, Python, and statistical modeling tools to identify trading opportunities
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines for real-time options pricing and volatility surfaces
- Collaborate with traders to back-test strategies and optimize risk-adjusted returns
- Create interactive dashboards in Tableau/Power BI for monitoring options positions and P&L
- Document analytical methodologies and ensure compliance with SEC/FINRA regulations
- Present findings to cross-functional teams including portfolio managers and risk officers
- Stay current with market microstructure developments and regulatory changes affecting options markets
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years experience in equity options analysis or quantitative finance roles
- Advanced proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation
- Deep understanding of Black-Scholes models, Greeks, and volatility surfaces
- Experience with financial APIs (Bloomberg, Refinitiv) and market data platforms
- Strong statistical modeling skills with ability to translate complex concepts to business stakeholders
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements (SEC, FINRA) for derivatives trading
- Excellent communication skills with proven ability to present technical findings clearly
