Responsibilities
- Analyze Equity Option Chains: Perform rigorous analysis of daily option data, identifying trends, pricing anomalies, and volatility surfaces to support trading decisions.
- Build Interactive Dashboards: Design and maintain complex dashboards using Tableau and Power BI to visualize market data, exposure, and risk metrics for stakeholders.
- Develop Predictive Models: Utilize Python and SQL to develop statistical models that forecast price movements and implied volatility.
- Collaborate with Trading Teams: Partner with quantitative traders and risk managers to translate data findings into concrete trading strategies and hedging recommendations.
- Data Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity and accuracy of data feeds by conducting routine audits and resolving discrepancies in real-time.
- Automate Reporting: Streamline reporting processes by automating data extraction and reporting pipelines to increase operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in financial data analysis, specifically within the options or derivatives market.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) for data manipulation and modeling.
- Visualization Tools: Strong working knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
- Financial Knowledge: Deep understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial), Greeks, and market mechanics.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders clearly and concisely.
