Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret equity options pricing data, volatility surfaces, and risk metrics using Python, SQL, and statistical modeling tools
- Develop and maintain automated data pipelines to ensure real-time processing of market data from multiple sources
- Collaborate with quantitative analysts to validate trading models and backtest strategies using historical options data
- Create interactive dashboards and visualizations for monitoring options positions and P&L attribution
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis on market anomalies and regulatory reporting requirements for SEC filings
- Present findings to senior stakeholders through clear, concise reports and data-driven recommendations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of experience in financial data analysis with specific exposure to equity options or derivatives markets
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis
- Strong understanding of options pricing models (Black-Scholes, Binomial) and risk management principles
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and statistical analysis software (R, MATLAB)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable business insights
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in high-pressure trading environments
