Responsibilities
- Construct robust data pipelines to ingest and process high-frequency equity options data (chain data, volume, open interest).
- Analyze implied volatility surfaces and Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Vega, Theta) to support quantitative trading strategies.
- Develop interactive, high-performance dashboards and visualizations for internal stakeholders using tools like Tableau or PowerBI.
- Collaborate closely with quants and traders to refine pricing models based on historical data trends and real-time feeds.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and compliance with relevant financial reporting standards.
- Optimize database queries and scripts to handle large-scale datasets efficiently.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis, specifically within the financial, derivatives, or quantitative trading sector.
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn) and SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
- Strong understanding of options trading concepts, including Calls, Puts, Spreads, Straddles, and the Black-Scholes model.
- Experience working with financial data APIs (e.g., Polygon.io, Alpha Vantage, Bloomberg Terminal).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
