Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust security frameworks for equity options trading platforms
- Conduct penetration testing and vulnerability assessments on financial systems
- Monitor and respond to security incidents using SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar)
- Develop security policies aligned with NIST 800-53 and ISO 27001 standards
- Collaborate with trading teams to identify and mitigate operational risks
- Lead incident response for cyber attacks targeting financial data
- Stay current on emerging threats in fintech and options markets
Qualifications
- 5+ years in cybersecurity with 2+ years in financial services
- Certification in CISSP, CISM, or CEH
- Experience securing trading systems or financial APIs
- Expertise in threat detection, incident response, and encryption
- Knowledge of FINRA/SEC cybersecurity regulations
- Proficiency with SIEM tools, firewalls, and endpoint protection
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure
