As an Entry Level Software Engineer, you will work closely with senior developers to design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions. You will gain hands-on experience in modern software development practices, agile methodologies, and cloud technologies.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of new software applications and features.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in various programming languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, security, and adherence to best practices.
- Debug and resolve software defects and performance issues under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and other engineers to define product requirements and deliver solutions.
- Contribute to technical documentation and participate in sprint planning and agile ceremonies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Strong understanding of fundamental computer science concepts including data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
- Familiarity with at least one modern programming language (e.g., JavaScript, Python, Java, C#).
- Knowledge of web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, RESTful APIs).
- Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
