Responsibilities
- Design and implement robust software solutions for equity options pricing and trading algorithms.
- Contribute to the development of high-performance web applications and RESTful APIs.
- Perform code reviews and write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists and traders, to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Debug and resolve issues in a fast-paced, agile development environment.
- Participate in technical discussions and architectural planning sessions to drive technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Familiarity with programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or JavaScript.
- Basic understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and version control systems (Git).
- Interest in financial markets, specifically Equity Options and derivatives, is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and communicate technical concepts clearly.
