Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices for equity options pricing engines
- Implement real-time data pipelines using Kafka and Apache Spark
- Collaborate with traders and quants to refine algorithmic trading models
- Write unit tests and ensure 99.9% system uptime
- Optimize database queries in PostgreSQL for high-frequency trading
- Participate in Agile sprints and code reviews
- Document technical specifications and API endpoints
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and SQL
- Familiarity with Linux, Docker, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP)
- Understanding of financial markets and derivatives instruments
