Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain microservices for equity options trading platforms using Java/Python
- Implement real-time market data processing and risk calculation engines
- Write unit tests and integration tests for financial algorithms (95%+ code coverage)
- Collaborate with quants to validate options pricing models and Black-Schole implementations
- Participate in agile sprints, delivering production-ready features bi-weekly
- Optimize database queries for PostgreSQL time-series data handling
- Document technical specifications for compliance and audit purposes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (2023-2024 graduates welcome)
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ with strong OOP fundamentals
- Basic understanding of financial markets and options trading concepts
- Experience with Git, Linux, and CI/CD pipelines
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database design
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through competitive programming or personal projects
