Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain equity options pricing and risk management software
- Collaborate with traders and quants to implement algorithmic trading strategies
- Optimize high-performance trading systems for low-latency execution
- Write clean, testable code using Java, Python, and C++
- Participate in Agile sprints to deliver features on schedule
- Debug and resolve complex trading system issues
- Contribute to API development for integration with market data feeds
Qualifications
- Recent CS graduate or self-taught with strong coding portfolio
- Proficiency in Java, Python, or C++ (projects welcome)
- Basic understanding of data structures and algorithms
- Interest in financial markets and derivatives trading
- Ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Willingness to obtain FINRA Series 7/63 licenses
