Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain core components of equity options trading platforms using Java/Python
- Implement low-latency algorithms for options pricing and risk management systems
- Collaborate with traders and quants to translate business requirements into technical solutions
- Write unit tests and integration tests ensuring 99.99% system reliability
- Optimize database queries and API performance for high-frequency trading
- Participate in Agile sprints and code reviews with senior engineers
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming
- Experience with at least one JVM language (Java, Scala) or Python
- Familiarity with SQL and relational databases
- Basic knowledge of Linux/Unix environments and Git
