Responsibilities
- Assist in the design and implementation of backend services for equity options trading platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code in Python, Java, or Go.
- Collaborate with data analysts to optimize trading algorithms and risk models.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging of software applications.
- Integrate third-party APIs for real-time market data feeds.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
- Document technical specifications and system architecture for future reference.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and data structures.
- Familiarity with SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Basic knowledge of financial markets, specifically equity options and derivatives, is a strong plus.
