Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Java-based microservices for equity options pricing and risk analytics
- Implement real-time trading interfaces using React.js and WebSocket technologies
- Integrate with market data feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv) for options chain updates
- Write unit tests and perform code reviews using JUnit and GitLab CI/CD
- Document APIs and technical specifications for trading platform components
- Debug production issues using distributed tracing tools (e.g., Jaeger)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver quarterly feature releases
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 0-2 years of experience with Java, Python, or C++
- Familiarity with SQL databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and RESTful APIs
- Basic understanding of financial markets and options trading concepts
- Experience with version control (Git) and agile development practices
- Problem-solving skills demonstrated through coding challenges or projects
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in collaborative environments
