Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including routers, switches, and access points
- Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Assist with network documentation and inventory management
- Support users via helpdesk tickets for network-related problems
- Participate in network monitoring and performance optimization tasks
- Collaborate with senior technicians on infrastructure upgrades
- Adhere to cybersecurity protocols and best practices
- Complete vendor-specific training modules (Cisco, CompTIA, etc.)
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn technical systems
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in various environments (office/server room)
- Valid driver's license for occasional client site visits
- CompTIA A+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Pass background check and drug screening
