Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues using diagnostic tools
- Document network configurations, changes, and incident reports
- Assist with network security protocols and vulnerability assessments
- Collaborate with senior technicians on infrastructure projects
- Provide basic end-user support for network-related issues
- Participate in ongoing training to develop technical skills
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, OSI model)
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to learn technical concepts quickly
- CompTIA Network+ certification (or willingness to obtain within 6 months)
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs for equipment installation
